Base pay starts at $28.00 per hour
Shift: Full Time, Day Shift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Driver will be expected to transport and deliver building materials to our dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a class B vehicle. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top-notch customer service. This is a hands-on delivery driving position and will be local during the week and some Saturdays may be required based on business needs.
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vehicles
- Responsible for delivering the correct product to our customers and completing all required paperwork accurately
- Makes inspection of vehicles as required by company policy and law to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate and has ample quantities of fuel, oil, and water
- Complies with all regulations, rules, and company procedures while performing job duties
- Reports all road hazards observed in the route
- Make delivery or pickup freight in, route, obtaining signed receipts, collecting, and signing for freight as instructed
- Immediately, reports all accidents and/or injuries including, DOT roadside inspections, in which involved, regardless of the extent of damage or injury
- At the end of each trip, reports the condition of the equipment used
- Valid Class B CDL
- Two Years minimum CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Multi-drop delivery experience a plus
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Ability to plan and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work safely throughout the day and prevent unsafe conditions

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $28.00 per hour to $33.00 per hour + medical, dental, and vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
