Job description
Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a detail-oriented Order Automation Analyst with a passion for streamlining processes and optimizing efficiencies to join our Customer Technology team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in automating and enhancing our customers’ purchase order workflow, streamlining the order intake and acceptance process to create an exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Automation Implementation: Designs, develops, and implements automated solutions for order processing, leveraging cutting-edge technology and software
- System Integration: Collaborates with IT teams to integrate order automation software with existing ERP systems, ensuring seamless data flow
- Workflow Optimization: Analyzes current order processes, identifies bottlenecks, and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Data Management: Maintains and updates databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for purchase orders
- Quality Assurance: Conducts regular audits and checks to ensure compliance with procurement policies, accuracy of orders, and adherence to budget constraints
- Vendor Communication: Facilitates communication with technology partners to resolve discrepancies, delays, and other issues
- Training and Documentation: Provides training to team members on the use of automation tools and maintain comprehensive documentation for reference
- Reporting: Generates reports and analytics to track key performance indicators, monitor process improvements, and support decision-making
- Compliance: Stays updated on relevant industry regulations and standards, ensuring that purchase order automation processes remain compliant
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred) or 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Proven experience in purchase order automation, process optimization, or a related role
- Proficiency in automation tools and software, such as AI, robotic process automation (RPA) and workflow management systems. (Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Microsoft)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective for a variety of customer segments and brands
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Formal training or certification in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) preferred
- Experience with construction, architecture and/or manufacturing industries a plus
Additional information
This position has a virtual-first hybrid work arrangement with a preferred location in Houston, TX with a minimum of two days a week in the office or co-located with other team members.
