    Job description

    The Director, Business Relationship Management will be responsible for providing senior leadership for the Information Technology Business Relationship Management team.  This team will be comprised of Business Relationship Managers and Business Analysts supporting all divisions of Cornerstone Building Brands.  This role will be a strategic business partner who shares ownership for both business strategy and business value through successful execution of technology driven projects. The director owns executive-level relationships and serves as a single point of focus. 

    This role has the opportunity to be remote for qualified talent


    • Provide energy, inspiration, and motivation to the IT Business Relationship Management team
    • Build relationships with key influencers and decision makers and increase confidence in team’s value
    • Ensure the business is in full compliance with internal and external IT policy requirements
    • Set specific objectives, goals and direction for the team to implement the IT Strategic Roadmap
    • Manage all people related aspects of the team (performance, compensation, development)
    • Create, justify and manage the overall budget for the IT Business Relationship Management team
    • Support business units in their usage of home grown and enterprise applications
    • Adhere to Cornerstone’s PMO and SDLC methodology, addressing change management
    • Effectively manage outsourced supplemental support relationships and assignments
    • Provide back-up support for the Business Analyst role, personally assuming the role when needed
    • Lead when critical system errors occur and coordinate actions and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
    • Manage the support tickets and process flow, ensuring all processes are properly followed



    • Experience managing Business Relationship Managers and Business Analysts
    • Minimum of 10 years functional experience, ideally participating in at least one large project implementation
    • Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
    • Desirable to have experience in a construction or manufacturing environment
    • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship
    • Must be able to travel up to 20%

    • The ability to effectively motivate and coach the department
    • Working knowledge of SQL and development concepts as they relate to enterprise applications
    • Thorough knowledge of MS office suite of products, including Word, Excel, Visio and Power Point
