Job description
JOB DETAILS
Pay rate starts at $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
SHIFT: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Monday - Friday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You understand what has priority in daily the production workflow and are quick to complete all assigned tasks while meeting measurable production metrics
- Regularly stepping up to help our manufacturing process and co-workers be successful as a production team
- You have a great understanding of the machinery that you run and are even able to diagnose repairs when the equipment is down
- You use your basic math and computer skills to make sure equipment is set correctly and you assist co-workers when needed
- Constantly work safely and comply with all safety regulations
- Operate machines to produce the correct items for orders while standing in an upright position for extended periods of time and moving about on foot
- Will be trained to use forklift to transport heavy weight metal coils
- Willingness to participate daily in shop cleaning responsibilities
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina and Strength
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
- Safety-First Culture
- Dependable, detail-oriented, hardworking, and self-motivated
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Experience in overhead crane operations is helpful but not required
- Experience with Forklifts helpful but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
- Experience is not required, we are willing to train self motivated, haedworking individuals!
