Job description

As part of the Cornerstone Building Brands family, Mitten is the largest manufacturer of exterior building products in North America. We currently have an opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional to join our Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect building products and maintain customer accounts in the Calgary region and surrounding areas.
  • Manage quoting and ordering process as well as all facets of after sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and internal reporting/admin.
  • Develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and maintain a professional image of the company. Integrity, a passion for sales, interpersonal and presentational skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3 years of outside sales experience
  • Experience in siding and vinyl residential/general construction industry a strong asset.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans an asset.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Outgoing and personable personality.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Strong relationship building and selling abilities.
  • Reliable personal transportation, good driving record and valid provincial driver’s license.
  • Involvement with networking and associations involving industry partners and customers.
  • Ability to travel to attend and conduct sales presentations.
