SCOPE OF ROLE:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Benefits, the Benefits Analyst is responsible for assisting with the administration the Company’s comprehensive benefit programs across the US, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide benefits-related customer service support to the company’s employees with primary focus on U.S. employees
- Responds to benefits inquiries from HR, managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
- Daily, weekly, monthly audit tasks related to benefits enrollment, eligibility and deductions
- Support communication efforts to help employees better understand their benefits
- Partner with the third-party system vendors as well as internal HRIS and HR teams to resolve system data issues
- Benefits vendor management and interaction on a day-to-day basis
- Work with outsourced administrator on annual enrollment process, including system validation of set up and testing employee experience
- Invoice processing and tracking of health and welfare costs for budgeting and reporting purposes
- Conduct benefits presentations, primarily during Annual Enrollment or acquisitions
- Assist with annual non-discrimination and compliance testing
- Run reports, generate census files and analyze data as needed
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years benefits experience
- Experience working in HRIS and vendor portals; Businessolver experience is a plus
- High-level proficiency with Excel (e. g., v-lookups, pivot tables, formulas)
- Experience working with and managing 3rd party vendors
- Understanding of regulatory benefits compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to resolve issues in a courteous and pleasant manner
