Job Description

The HR Business Partner works in concert with business partners to advance our people and organization strategy across the company. This role will have responsibility for end-to-end HR activity within his/her client group.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver on people & organization strategy within client groups and develop solutions to issues that emerge from the business.
  • Act as a trusted business partner with clients by providing coaching, counsel, and perspective on business, team, and people matters.
  • Own and execute on core HR processes within client groups, communicating with, and supporting managers and team members to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
  • Act as an owner of the end-to-end talent acquisition process with the end goal of filling all open and approved requisition in accordance with defined standards.
  • Develop and deliver on talent management plans with the end goal of having the right people, with the right skills, in the right roles.
  • Execute on strategies that improve talent attraction, talent management, & talent development
  • Develop implement solutions based on employee engagement survey data that shapes the culture consistent with the company's aspiration.
  • Ensure a positive employee experience by managing end-to-end onboarding process.
  • Manage all elements of compensation practices within client group in accordance with company standards. Make recommendations for salary offers, compensation adjustments, and promotions.
  • Utilize HRIS system to assist with reporting on various workforce data.
  • Manage the employee off-boarding process, including conducting exit interviews, explaining payroll/benefits implications, facilitating return of company assets and property, and IT changes.
  • Manage the claims and leave management process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of claims/leave from start to finish, including  return to work  planning.
  • Interpret and administer company policies while acting as a resource to both managers and team members by offering support and guidance regarding company policies and practices.
  • Conduct workplace investigations in accordance with company protocol.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and business initiatives as needed by providing project management and administrative support, coordination, and planning efforts.
  • Act as a liaison between employees, people managers and payroll to rectify pay-related concerns and make recommendations for process  enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of HR.

Le ou la Partenaire d’affaires, Ressources humaines (HRBP) collabore étroitement avec les partenaires d’affaires pour faire progresser la stratégie en matière de talents et d’organisation à l’échelle de l’entreprise. Ce rôle est responsable de l’ensemble des activités RH pour son groupe client.

OBJECTIFS ET RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPAUX

  • Mettre en œuvre la stratégie organisationnelle et en matière de talents au sein des groupes clients et développer des solutions aux enjeux identifiés dans l’entreprise.
  • Agir comme conseiller(ère) de confiance auprès des clients en offrant du coaching, des conseils et des perspectives sur les enjeux liés aux affaires, aux équipes et aux talents.
  • Gérer et exécuter les processus RH clés pour les groupes clients, en soutenant les gestionnaires et les employés afin d’assurer des résultats efficaces et en temps opportun.
  • Être responsable de l’ensemble du processus d’acquisition de talents afin de pourvoir les postes approuvés selon les standards définis.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans de gestion des talents afin d’avoir les bonnes personnes, aux bons postes, avec les bonnes compétences.
  • Mettre en œuvre des stratégies visant à améliorer l’attraction, la gestion et le développement des talents.
  • Proposer et déployer des initiatives en lien avec les résultats des enquêtes d’engagement afin de favoriser une culture organisationnelle alignée sur les aspirations de l’entreprise.
  • Assurer une expérience employé positive, notamment à travers la gestion complète du processus d’accueil et d’intégration.
  • Gérer tous les aspects des pratiques de rémunération pour le groupe client, en conformité avec les normes de l’entreprise. Fournir des recommandations concernant les offres salariales, les ajustements et les promotions.
  • Utiliser le système RH (SIRH) pour générer des rapports sur différentes données de la main-d'œuvre.
  • Gérer le processus de départ des employés, incluant les entrevues de départ, les implications liées à la paie/aux avantages sociaux, le retour des biens de l’entreprise, et les changements liés aux TI.
  • Superviser le processus de gestion des réclamations et des congés (maladie, maternité, invalidité, etc.), y compris la planification du retour au travail.
  • Interpréter et appliquer les politiques de l’entreprise, tout en agissant comme ressource auprès des gestionnaires et employés en matière de pratiques et politiques internes.
  • Mener des enquêtes en milieu de travail conformément aux protocoles de l’entreprise.
  • Participer à des projets transversaux ou initiatives d’affaires, en apportant un soutien en gestion de projet, coordination et planification.
  • Servir d’intermédiaire entre les employés, les gestionnaires et la paie pour résoudre les enjeux liés à la rémunération et proposer des améliorations aux processus.
  • Favoriser l’amélioration continue dans tous les volets RH.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business or a related discipline required.
  • CHRP Required.
  • 5+ years' experience in Human Resources with exposure to a cross-section of HR activity required.
  • Experience and proficiency with HRIS or HCM related systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various Provincial Legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health & Safety, WSIB, WCB, etc.)
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Manufacturing or related industry experience preferred.

EXIGENCES – FORMATION ET EXPÉRIENCE

  • Baccalauréat en ressources humaines, administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe requis.
  • Détention du titre CRHA ou CRIA obligatoire.
  • Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en ressources humaines avec une exposition variée aux différentes sphères RH.
  • Expérience avec un SIRH ou un système de gestion du capital humain (HCM).
  • Bonne connaissance des lois provinciales applicables (normes du travail, droits de la personne, santé et sécurité au travail, CNESST, etc.).
  • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Une expérience dans le secteur manufacturier ou un domaine similaire est un atout.
