Job Description

A Branch Warehouse Associate will be moving and transporting goods and product. They will sort and count materials going in or out of the warehouse. Some duties and responsibilities include:

  • Load and unload product materials.
  • Take inventory of materials shipped or received.
  • Store, count, weigh, and open materials received.
  • Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles for transporting goods.
  • Fill warehouse work orders.
  • Label boxes to identify materials.
  • Place orders on skids, crates, or pallets.

Qualifications

  • Completion of High School / GED

A Branch Warehouse Associate candidate will possess the knowledge to simplify workload and keep everything in order. Some of their skills include:

  • Excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of transporting or storing materials.
  • Understanding of inventory and shipping procedures.
  • Awareness of Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries.
  • Understanding of how to dispose of waste material in a safe manner
  • Ability to use computer technology to track inventory, and keep a record of storage
  • Ability to work well with others
