Job Description

As Business Development Program Analyst, you will serve as the first point of contact for internal “Hypersteel Support,” providing critical, day-to-day assistance across a wide range of technical, operational, and customer service functions. This individual will help absorb and manage the high volume of internal and builder-partner inquiries, support software and product data administration, and act as a knowledgeable liaison between teams to ensure seamless communication and responsiveness.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires problem-solving skills, strong communication, technical aptitude, and a desire to learn. The ideal candidate will be trained to develop deep expertise in our ACT Software and internal processes, ultimately becoming a go-to support partner for the Hypersteel team and full Shelter Solutions organization.

This role will report directly to the Business Development Manager, Hypersteel.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple functions to effectively position Hypersteel  buildings within the Simple Metal Buildings category
  • Serve as the primary internal contact for Hypersteel Support, addressing daily issues such as order questions, job warnings, and process clarifications
  • Triage and redirect inquiries from builder customers, including determining the correct DSM contact
  • Become a subject matter expert in ACT Software, supporting ongoing team training efforts
  • Manage the ACT Price File Databases, including entry of new products as identified
  • Support internal ACT customer registration approvals as needed
  • Assist in managing IT service requests related to ACT or other departmental tools
  • Track and report sales visibility (weekly/monthly reports handled separately)
  • Communicate directly with key internal stakeholders on shipping dates and related logistics
  • Act as a backup point of contact for ACT-related technical escalations and jobsite-specific inquiries
  • Process all engineering fees to maintain timely lead times
  • Provide dependable coverage during emergencies, travel days, or PTO to ensure continuity in customer and sales support
  • Any other tasks or duties deemed necessary the Business Development Manager, Hypersteel

Qualifications

  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to identify win/wins for CBB and its customers  
  • Demonstrated success as a change agent, with both a willingness and ability to facilitate change and effectively address resistance
  • Proven leadership, influence, and collaboration in a matrixed organization
  • Steel building experience preferred
  • Manufacturing and sales experience is preferred
  • CRM proficiency – Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency – Particularly excel
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
  • Highly accountable to multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Outcome-driven orientation with a bias for proactive solutioning and ability to see a vision through to execution

Education/Additional Information:

  • 4+ years combined experience in customer facing roles, Consulting, Marketing, Sales or Analytics, ideally in a B2B setting
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; a mix of experience and education will be considered
