Summary
As a Commercial Pricing Specialist, you will collaborate with various departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure our pricing models are competitive, profitable, and aligned with market demands. Your role will involve conducting market research, analyzing competitor pricing, and using data-driven insights to recommend pricing adjustments. You will also monitor the performance of pricing strategies and make necessary adjustments to optimize revenue and profitability. This position requires a proactive individual who can balance strategic thinking with attention to detail and operational execution. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to meet commercial business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitor pricing models.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies to “win” in a highly competitive channel.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of pricing strategies on “wins” and “loses”.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments and help build a long term “cost plus” strategy.
- Ensure pricing models comply with company policies and regulations.
- Prepare detailed pricing reports and presentations for all stakeholders.
- Must be highly efficient in “Accu-quote” ordering/pricing system.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
- 2+ year of experience in pricing, selling or servicing windows and doors
- Proven experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and Accu-quote soft-ware
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of window & door market trends and customer behavior.
