The Continuous Improvement Manager leads the implementation of Lean principles and Kaizen methodologies to drive cultural and operational change across the site. Key responsibilities include planning and prioritizing Kaizen Events, developing Lean tools and capabilities, and ensuring employee engagement in improvement initiatives. This role involves daily coaching on waste elimination, facilitating Kaizen Events, and conducting training to build Lean expertise site-wide.
The CI Manager will also support benchmarking, share best practices, and contribute to Strategy Deployment, ensuring alignment with company goals. By leading continuous improvement efforts and fostering a culture of Lean, the CI Manager will help drive efficiency, reduce waste, and support the achievement of strategic objectives.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing role.
- Experience with project management, including budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in CAD software, project management tools, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative engineering solutions to production challenges.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams effectively.
- Able to build successful teams and guide others in accomplishing work objectives
- Seeks and uses ‘customer’ feedback to improve effectiveness of Lean group and deployment
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Advance English and strong communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Experience in managing or coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring focus on quality and safety.
