The Dispatcher is responsible for planning, adjusting, and managing delivery and installation dates by monitoring residential builder schedules and communicating with customers and coordinating internal resources to meet customer expectations and delivery dates. Develops strong working relationships with both internal and external resources to fulfill Customer orders and commitments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitoring builder schedules online for all ESW related jobs Adjusting scheduled start and completion dates in JIM Works closely with Project Managers and Install Coordination to ensure timely installations and delivery of materials Communicating directly with customers to confirm dates at scheduled intervals prior to delivery Communicating with Project Managers regarding any updates to current jobs, customer needs or changes 1 Maintain up to date knowledge of customer build cycles to ensure house readiness at confirmation Keeps abreast of construction challenges and delays that ultimately impact build cycle and delivery dates Maintain knowledge of customer contacts for confirmation calls Performs other duties as assigned Safety and Compliance, Accountability, Ownership of Work for self and others, Aligns self and others, Ability to build and instill trust with others and managing conflict
REQUIREMENTS & EDUCATION
*Associates degree in related field and 3 to 5 years industry experience in Construction Project
* Management/Dispatching or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
* Previous experience working in Manufacturing Environment highly desired.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication and the ability to work with others in a team environment required.
* Proficient with Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Presentations, e-mail and the internet required;
* Prior experience with ERP/MRP and Sales software preferred
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
* The employee must periodically lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, construction blue- prints or governmental regulations.
*Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public in a timely way.
* Ability to read and write the English language
