Monitor and coordinate vehicle or service operations using dispatch software or communication systems.
Assign and schedule routes or calls for service based on urgency, availability, and efficiency.
Track and document the location, status, and performance of city vehicles or field personnel.
Maintain clear and continuous communication with drivers, field staff, supervisors and customers.
Handle emergency and non-emergency calls, relaying critical information quickly and accurately.
Respond to delays, breakdowns, or incidents and adjust plans as necessary.
Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation for compliance and record-keeping.
Provide support and direction to drivers, contractors, or service crews in the field.
Respond to customer inquiries, provide service updates, and resolve concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly.
Familiarity with city geography and municipal services is a plus.
Availability to work onsite, including weekends or holidays, if required
