About the position:
The End of Line Inspector plays a pivotal role in maintaining the standards and quality of products we deliver to our Customers. This position is crucial for ensuring that all manufactured products meet company standards and Customer expectations before they get packed and shipped. Their work not only impacts the reliability and performance of the products but also safeguards the company's reputation by preventing quality failures and costly recalls.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Inspect 100% of the product to the Ply Gem Quality Specifications
- Document inspection outcomes by completing 15 point inspection reports, testing function of product, stamping their individual seal on the inspected product and completing NDF tracking sheets
- Take ownership and responsibility of the quality of product coming off of the designated line
- Inspect product using various measuring tools
- Engaging with the production team to provide feedback and support necessary adjustments that align product output with Quality Standards
- Identify and assist in eliminating all potential safety hazards
- Help identify process and product improvements
- Assist in dealing with quality issues using the CPS tools
- Promote and live 5S culture
- Initiate reorders for defective product and set non-conforming product aside
- Attend and contribute to Winning Impact Team board review meetings
- Report to the Production Manager

- Physical ability to handle finished goods and stand for 8 hours/shift
