The HR Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function. This role will act as a key liaison between employees and management, supporting a wide range of HR activities including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, and HR process improvements.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and improve retention efforts.
- Provide frontline HR support to employees and managers on policies, procedures, and programs.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding processes.
- Provide training on HR Self-Service, Payroll, and Learning Management Systems.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist employees with policy guidance and direct HR inquiries appropriately.
- Develop and analyze HR reports to support data-driven decisions and HR metrics.
- Conduct regular audits of HR data and resolve any identified discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies.
- Administer corrective actions for hourly employees and support the performance appraisal process.
- Handle employee relations matter and conduct investigations as needed.
- Support Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and internal communications.
- Assist with special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and HR events.
- Administer Dayforce transactions, reporting, and data integrity.
- Support performance management processes, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–4 years of progressive HR experience; manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HR systems (e.g., DAYFORCE) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with tact, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills – with the ability to pivot gracefully as business needs and priorities change.
- Ability to connect to individuals at all organizational levels with emotional intelligence
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees
- Results-driven, ability to work independently confident in the ability to make decisions.
