We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead strategic human capital initiatives, drive workforce development, and build strong relationships across our organization. This role supports our aspiration to become the premier building products provider in North America by delivering impactful HR solutions that align with business and people goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion company culture and core values.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent pipeline development.
- Guide performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance skills and succession planning.
- Manage employee relations, resolve workplace issues, and oversee investigations.
- Drive employee engagement strategies and action plans.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across the site.
- Collaborate with teams to support safety, payroll, and HRIS processes.
- Oversee HR budgets, track key metrics, and support workforce planning.
What We’re Looking For:
- HR Experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Environments
- A strong track record of resolving workplace issues and fostering positive relationships.
- Desire and ability to streamline HR processes and drive workforce development.
- Relatable and approachable, with the ability to build rapport across all levels.
- Experience designing and delivering effective programs for new hires and ongoing development.
- Thorough knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to partner with leaders and centralized teams to achieve business goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 5 years in progressive HR experience in a Manufacturing or Production industry with an additional 2 years of HR leadership experience required
- Working knowledge of employment and labor laws, such as FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of benefits administration, specifically the annual enrollment process, life status changes, COBRA, etc.
- Must have experience with HRIS systems as well as strong technical skills with MS Office Suite applications. SmartSheets experience is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership ability with proven experience in strategy development and problem solving
- Demonstrates a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and present information to management, employees, corporate personnel, and vendors/suppliers
- Excellent analytical, problem resolution, negotiating and project management skills
- Strong organizational skills: and the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet established and changing deadlines
- Must be willing to work flexible work schedule to ensure HR availability across multiple shifts
- Standard manufacturing office environment and ability to comfortably navigate on manufacturing floor
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the manufacturing areas
