Pay starts at $17-$19 per hour
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 2:30pm-11:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine and non-routine cleaning and custodial duties in an office or plant and other areas as required.
- Clean lavatories, collects and disposes of waste paper
- May vacuum, sweep, mop and wax floors and stairs
- May operate industrial cleaning equipment/machinery in performing assigned duties as required
- Recommend/Report repairs to management
- Cleaning of bodily fluids as necessary
- Must be able to read and follow label instructions on cleaning materials
- Maintain supplies in janitors closets and storage areas
- Perform assigned duties for special events
- Dust and clean walls, doors, windows, woodwork and other above-floor surfaces
- Window washing
- Perform related work as required and instructed by supervisor
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Knowledge of cleaning method, materials, and equipment
- Knowledge of using the appropriate PPE
- Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength
- Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions
- Ability to establish and maintain working relations with supervisor, lead, and fellow worker
