Job Purpose
The IT Compliance Specialist is a key member of Cornerstone Building Brands’ Information Technology organization, working closely with multiple business units to support overall Risk & Compliance initiatives.
This role is responsible for managing user access across 12 CBB applications, including provisioning and deprovisioning, troubleshooting access issues, and resolving potential conflicts. The position plays an essential part in maintaining compliance with SOX requirements and internal IT policies—supporting audits through evidence collection, reporting, and quality control.
Compliance activities include monitoring IT General Controls, conducting application reviews, and contributing to special compliance projects that strengthen our IT governance framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage user access provisioning and deprovisioning in Oracle, JDE, and other ERP systems.
- Ensure adherence to Cornerstone’s internal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Support change management processes and ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks.
- Monitor and review IT control activities (monthly, quarterly, annually) to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Collaborate with security and operations teams to resolve compliance findings or control issues.
- Prepare and communicate summaries of compliance reviews and audit results.
- Track and support remediation efforts for identified control deficiencies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Cornerstone’s overall compliance strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Relevant Risk & Compliance experience
- Oracle or JDE functional knowledge required
- Excel Proficiency
- B2 English
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
