Job Description

As a JDE Software Development Analyst you will support end user problem resolution - trouble shooting assigned IT tickets. Identifying root causes and solutions for daily transactional errors for users and document problems and resolution for future use.  The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of JDE Distribution modules. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing business needs, translating them into functional requirements, Application and UBE Development, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of JD Edwards (JDE) ERP solution. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, ensure seamless integration, and drive efficiency in the Distribution areas.

Roles Responsibilities:

  • JDE E1 Experience: Hands-on experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) Distribution modules (e.g., Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement, and Distribution).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in JD Edwards development tools along with the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • SQL: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for extracting and manipulating data.
  • Strong understanding of Distribution Modules in JD Edwards E1, such as:
    • Sales Order Management
    • Inventory Management
    • Procurement Management
    • Advanced Pricing and Distribution Requirements
  • Knowledge of business processes related to the distribution supply chain (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
  • Familiarity with integrations between JDE and other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, or third-party software).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving issues related to JDE distribution functionalities, reports, and integrations.
  • Experience with data migration and business data analysis.
  • Ability to interact with business users to understand requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with business teams, functional consultants, and developers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5 + years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) Distribution modules  e.g., Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Procurement, and Distribution).
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in JD Edwards development tools along with the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of business processes related to the distribution supply chain (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
  • SQL: Ability to write and optimize SQL queries for extracting and manipulating data.
