JOB DETAILS
Base pay starts at $20.00 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Shift: 2nd Shift 3:00 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday, overtime as designated
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely lead the activities of team members in the production of quality products
- Guarantee and maintain a safe work environment
- Assist in training and coaching of new employees
- Ensure onboarding and training requirements for new employees are met
- Maintain open communication in motivating employees to meet quality and productivity goals
- Utilize problem solving techniques, team building strategies and process improvement tools to meet or exceed goals and objectives
- Know and understand all operations within the assigned area
- Be approachable for employee questions and concerns at all times
- Assume production responsibilities of Team Lead in his/her absence
- Other related duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements
- Hands-on leader and role model with high integrity and positive influence
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent track record driving employee engagement
- Computer Literate – Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel and Word, SAP preferred
- Dedication to quality in all aspects of the job
- Bi-lingual a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to bend, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
