JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $15.00 - $16.30 per hour, plus $0.30 per hour shift differential

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM - Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Loader I position is an entry-level role that is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments. Loaders play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of shipping operations and ensuring that products are delivered and received in good condition.

  • Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment
  • Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment
  • Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load
  • Assists with inventory counts as required
  • Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area
  • May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
  • Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment
