Position Summary
The Logistic Coordinator oversees and coordinates management of inbound materials, issuing and dispatching of goods to Operations. This includes effectively communicating between internal customers such as Purchasing, Finance, Operations and inbound freight companies. The Logistic Coordinator is responsible for data entry and inventory controls (Cycle Counting/WIP Counts) of all stock. They may also have to assist with the general duties within the warehouse. They are expected to actively participate in Materials Management Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives. This includes, when appropriate, Safety initiatives, daily huddles, 5S and problem solving.

- Play a Lead Role in Planning and Executing Annual Physical Inventory is required.
General Responsibilities
- Processing incoming receipts, process transfers, stock adjustments, issuance and data entry of cycle counts/WIP counts for all campuses.
- Review Past due orders daily and update MPC
- Schedule Incoming and outbound trucks & shipments and update delivery boards.
- Work Closely with Buyers to resolve any discrepancies with PO/Packing Slips or vendor documentations.
- Effective communication as needed regarding Stock outs, to internal customers and own department
- Assisting Supervisors on prioritizing Delivery of materials, restocking shelves, etc.…
- Generate Daily Board Picks, Prepare and Prints monthly Reports
- Write all outbound Bill of Lading and books trucks and file and maintain DCL, Stock out reports.
- Plan & Monitoring Cycle Count progress to ensure 100% of Cycle count and WIP count is achieved and assist on priorities and reporting.
- Plan and Play a lead role in Executing Annual Physical Inventory count in the Materials Management department.
- Follow employee safety standards by adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety regulations, company standard operating procedures, and best practice guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement, Divisional Objectives, Safety initiatives (e.g. general problem solving, 6S, Safety audits,)
- Reports in daily, weekly, monthly data reporting, within Materials Management and to upstream customers
- Report monthly WIP, Cycle Count and Scrap recording data to internal customers and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure timely disposition and reporting of NCF products(i.e. RMA, Scrap etc)
- Comply with company policies and values.
- Conduct Inventory Analysis and assist in identifying slow moving and dead stocks.
- Minimum post-secondary education required; post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
- Strong aptitude in mathematics
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset
Work Schedule: Fully on-site, with the schedule split between both Calgary Ply Gem locations — working a few days at each location throughout the week, based on business needs.
