Job Description

The Manufacturing Engineer (Projects) will play a critical role in leading and managing engineering projects that focus on improving manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment for new and ongoing projects. The Manufacturing Engineer (Projects) will also be responsible for developing solutions to production challenges, ensuring all engineering projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with company objectives.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a focus on project management and process improvement.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies, particularly in a high-volume or complex manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with project management, including budget management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Proficient in CAD software, project management tools, and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative engineering solutions to production challenges.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams effectively.

Additional Information

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in implementing automation or robotics in manufacturing processes.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience in managing or coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in manufacturing environments.
