This role leads the manufacturing engineering and maintenance across the operating group to achieve the Operating Group Strategic Annual Plans. With indirect leadership responsibility for the various Operating Group Mfg. Engr. & Maintenance leads, this role will collaborate with Operating group leadership to create an annual Strategic Annual Plan (SAP) and ensure it is deployed. Elements will include but not be limited to: New Technologies, Capital Equipment, Deployment of CPS Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Pillar deploying Division Manufacturing Engineering Standards, Facility building, upkeep and closure. Key measures of success include Strategic Annual Plan completion, Annualized Cost take out, Capital spend vs. Budget, first time process yield, TPM Audit Score.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with Operations and Maintenance, providing Technical leadership to improve production lines/equipment through the Strategic Annual Plan process.
- Facilitates a multi-year OG Capital plan ensuring equipment uptime and facility operational readiness.
- Leads and develops a group of Operating Group Engineering and Maintenance Leaders to”.
- Implement new technologies and equipment to drive cost out, capacity up, ensure supply.
- Ensures plant alignment with division engineering standards.
- Effectively deploys CBB CPS Total Productive Maintenance Division wide.
- Optimize overall system Capacity ensuring brand value propositions are supported.
- Improve the average age of production equipment, ensuring supply and OTIF performance.
- Build / upkeep / close facilities, optimizing network profitability.
- Ensures achievement of Operating Group SAP objectives
- Facilitates creation of a wholistic Operating group capital budget in line with business expectations and ensures annual spend is in aligned with business needs.
- Sets an example with safe behavior and safety compliance.
- Other duties as required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively technical responsibility in a manufacturing environment; minimum of 5 yrs. technical experiences in the Fenestration industry.
- 5 yrs. in a management/supervisory / equipment specification capacity.
- Experience managing Cross- functional teams and projects.
- Experience managing large Capital projects to successful outcomes.
- Conversant with applicable Industry standards and their application
- Skilled in the use of MS Office at an advanced level
Skills/Abilities
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to coach, train, and mentor all levels of associates. Ability to develop and play a team member role with multiple sites. Ability to travel up to 50%. Analytical and mathematical orientation with ability to summarize and present clear and concise reports required.

Standard manufacturing plant environment with moderate to heavy exposure to plant dusts, fumes, noise, chemicals, and temperature extremes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000-140,000 + 5% bonus+ medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
