Job Description

Overview:

The Pricing Supervisor reports to the Director, Strategic Pricing with a goal to support continual efforts to optimize post invoice credit processes. The Pricing Credit Team Lead will act as team lead to oversee accuracy of post-invoice credit reconciliations and drive standardization and process improvement across the team. The responsibilities for this position include reconciling customer data to determine the validity of customer's post invoice credit claim and the related available deviation of pricing, manage the monthly accrual process, and working closely with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy of accrual forecasting and methodology.   The position will also be responsible to provide special price post invoice credit analysis to sales teams that advance the ability of commercial leadership to accomplish profitable growth objectives.  

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the credit (post-invoice) processing team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Oversee the end-to-end rebate process, including post-invoice claim validation, processing, and reconciliation. Lead projects to streamline processes and improve credit processing efficiencies.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of rebate submissions and payments, resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain rebate (credit) program guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage monthly accrual process, including develop/maintain reports to communicate post invoice credit accrual balances and to support monthly P/L variance analysis.
  • Analyze rebate data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors, distributors, and customers to facilitate effective rebate program administration.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on rebate program performance, including analysis of key metrics and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Related experience: 3-5 years business experience of post invoice credit price assessment & reconciliation
  • Advanced analytical Excel skills (formulas, link and summarize data, trend reporting, etc.)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional groups and build meaningful business relationships
  • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification
  • Works well with both internal and external customers.
  • Experience with pricing optimization software (CPQ) and ERP systems (JDE or other) preferred
  • Very good organizational skills and able to quickly learn new system applications
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
