Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a highly motivated individual with a safety mindset and commitment to growth to join our Production Team.

  • Assemble, fabricate, and inspect windows and doors to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Review production orders and prepare materials using hand tools, power tools, saws, and automated equipment.
  • Assemble window and door components, including frames, glass panels, hardware (hinges, locks, handles), seals, and screens.
  • Perform sealed unit glazing, screen fitting, packaging, and other production-related tasks as required.
  • Safely operate production machinery and equipment, including saws, pneumatic tools, and automated welders.
  • Conduct quality inspections and measurements throughout the production process to ensure product accuracy and workmanship.
  • Identify and report product defects or quality concerns.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, including labeling, packaging, and loading materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Follow instructions and direction provided by supervisors and team leaders.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) standards.
  • Support team objectives and assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a general labour, construction, or manufacturing environment is considered an asset (6 months to 1 year preferred).
  • Willingness to learn and be trained, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to being a reliable team member.
  • Basic English communication skills, including the ability to understand instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including extended periods of standing and frequent lifting of 50–70 lbs.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and measurement calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
