The Production Manager – Glass/Screens will lead a diverse team of Cornerstone employees aligned with our company values. The position is responsible for employee development; team building and will be operating in a fast-paced work environment. They will be responsible for the safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost performance for their assigned areas.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and direct operations for assigned areas, including strategic direction, and coaching for assigned leadership team.
- Ensure a safe and organized work environment. Promptly address safety issues to ensure continuous improvement of safety culture. Administer safety training and meetings.
- Direct and manage staff activities, which generally include resource planning, inventory management, quality workmanship and process flow in a timely manner.
- Diagnose any potential areas needing improvement and implement process improvements to increase performance.
- Ensures complete and timely product delivery meeting all current quality standards.
- Meet or exceed budgeted financial performance standards. Prepare and administer departmental budgets.
- Reviews data to seek process, resource, and machine improvements to attain desired results.
- Ensure communication of department goals and performance.
- Responsible for determining the efficient staffing levels for desired production output.
- Develop future leaders.
- Communicate with leaders and associates across all shifts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Microsoft office applications.
- Ability to forecast, deploy and execute to meet goals and customer expectations.
- Solid knowledge of safety, quality, delivery, and cost requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership, staff development and training with analytical and problem-solving skills.
