ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and attracting top talent to support the staffing needs of our operations in Mexico. Reporting to the Talent Partner, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining a high-quality workforce aligned with company goals, values, and local market conditions. The ideal candidate will bring a strong passion for recruiting, excellent Spanish-English bilingual communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, third party partners, and employee referrals.
- Screen applicants and conduct interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings in compliance with local regulations.
- Extend job offers and negotiate employment terms with candidates.
- Build and maintain a proactive pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Design, execute, and track mass recruitment campaigns for operational positions, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates to fill high volumes of vacancies on time.
- Manage and keep active a robust candidate pipeline for high-turnover operational profiles, guaranteeing immediate availability during peak staffing demand.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for both operational (high-volume) and professional (white-collar) positions.
- Establish and activate staffing agencies, specialized job boards, technical training centers, trade unions, and industrial sector communities to secure permanent sources of operational talent.
- Develop and implement early-stage retention strategies in collaboration with operations to reduce first 90-day turnover.
- Monitor and analyze turnover metrics by department, shift, and role, adjusting sourcing strategies proactively.
- Partner with supervisors and plant leadership to identify root causes of turnover and improve onboarding and integration process.
- Manage external staffing vendors, including negotiating SLAs, rates, and quality expectations to ensure consistent delivery during demand peaks.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Required Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a recruiter in full-life cycle recruiting, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
- Proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR technologies.
- Working knowledge of Mexican labor laws and hiring practices.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to recruitment challenges.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Prior experience working in or managing recruitment agencies, with in-depth knowledge of their operational models, key metrics, and industry’s best practices.
- Proven experience in high-volume recruitment of operational profiles in the industrial or manufacturing sector, with emphasis on roles such as welders, boilermakers, general laborers, forklift operators, material handlers, and similar positions.
- Adaptability to perform under volume pressure and tight timelines while maintaining process quality and a positive candidate experience.
- Knowledge of the regional metalworking and industrial labor market, including competitive salary ranges, scarce profiles, talent sourcing zones, and peak periods of candidate competition.
- Experience with internal employee referral programs as a low-cost, high-effectiveness sourcing channel for operational profiles in manufacturing environments.
- Ability to analyze turnover data (by shift, area, tenure, and profile) and translate findings into concrete preventive recruitment actions, moving beyond reactive, urgency-driven hiring.

- Minimum – 40,000 pesos
- Maximum – 55,000 pesos

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 Pesos Monthly based on experience, qualifications, and location. In addition to base compensation, this position is eligible to recieve up to 5% annual bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, and internal equity.
*Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week. **Union programs may vary depending on the collective bargaining agreement.
