Base pay starts at $19.00 per hour
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM-3:30 AM
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Spray Foam Operator at Cornerstone Building Brands you will be responsible for applying spray foam insulation to vinyl profiles for window frames and other parts of the window manufacturing process, ensuring proper sealing and insulation, and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Role Responsibilities
Work independently and/or with small department to maintain daily quota and department expectations
Communicate clearly with production departments on job progress as the foam step can negatively impact production manufacturing if daily quotas are not maintained
Applying Spray Foam
Use specialized equipment to spray foam insulation into vinyl profiles
Ensure proper coverage and thickness of the foam for optimal insulation and sealing
Monitoring the amount of material sprayed to ensure proper insulation and minimal waste
Quality Control
Ensure that the spray foam application meets quality standards and specifications
Identify and address any issues or defects in the foam application
Safety
Following all safety protocols and guidelines for working with spray foam
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Other Duties
Load & Unload materials into bay using electric pallet jacks
Clean bay area and dispose of excess foam/Thoroughly cleaning spray foam gun
Assist with other tasks as needed
Experience in spray foam application or related fields
Knowledge of spray foam materials and equipment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting and reaching
Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
