Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst manages and analyzes single site or moderate risk supply chain activities. Develops single level supply chain business models to achieve improvements within business processes, demand planning, capacity mgmt. inventory management or logistics costs. Makes decisions involving a moderate degree of complexity under time constraints. Provides input and assistance in developing supply chain processes and procedures. Requires a high level of strategic thinking versus limited tactical execution.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Technology preferred, or equivalent experience in lieu of education
  • Requires 2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with previous warehouse or supply experience
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and/or external customers
  • Supports organizational change (e.g., asks questions, abandons past ways of doing things, etc.)
  • Demonstrates effective communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent use of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, Outlook, Smartsheet, SharePoint, etc.)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update and distribute daily loading dock and warehouse forecast and capacity plans
  • Support Logistics organization in the creation, review, updating and distribution of metrics (KPI and PvA)
  • In collaboration with scheduling team, understand annual stock build plan and update/maintain warehouse slotting plan to support plant goals
  • Support cycle count processes in warehouse and supermarket as needed
  • Co-captain physical inventory and assist with data entry needs
  • Identify & lead moderate and mid-level projects across the order fulfillment chain (plan, source, make, deliver) to drive continuous improvement; develop and complete project work plans; provide required status reports. Examples include: ERP implementation, process improvement
  • Recognize, develop and complete strategic with some tactical level work plans for single site or moderate risk projects
  • Requires ability to define intermediate risk or intermediate level problems, collect data, analyze data, offer solutions, and implement to achieve the desired results
  • Responsible for driving continuous improvement and process innovation by utilizing data analysis and strategic insights to optimize logistics, reduce costs and enhance overall operational efficiency
  • Facilitate Kaizen events to drive improvement in scheduling process and receiving department layout
  • Create and maintain value stream/process maps
  • Coach the Process Coordinator on analyzing, testing and documenting processes using defined standards and methodologies Coach, guide, and train less experienced employees and team members. Able to act as “in-charge” lead for assignments or projects
  • Provide back-up support for area coordinators, supervisors, and managers
