Job description

Are you passionate about driving impactful change in a dynamic environment? Join us as a Human Resources Program Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of Cornerstone Building Brands within our Surface Solutions team. You'll have the opportunity to travel across the country, forging meaningful connections with team leaders, plant managers, and collegues in HR and other stakeholders. Your creativity and expertise will be instrumental in developing and expanding HR programs and projects, contributing directly to our team's growth and success. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you'll be part of an innovative HR department, empowering you to make a real difference in our organization.

This is a hybrid role, and will be two days a week in our Cary, NC headquarters. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the design, development, and execution of HR programs and initiatives aligned with organizational goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and key stakeholders across the business to identify program needs, objectives, and success metrics
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for HR programs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely delivery
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of HR programs, monitoring progress and addressing any issues or obstacles that arise
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of HR programs to measure effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization
  • Partner with HR business partners and other functional teams to ensure seamless integration of HR programs with broader organizational initiatives
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to HR programs, and incorporate relevant insights into program design and execution
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on HR programs, providing guidance and support to HR colleagues, managers, and employees as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in HR program management or related roles
  • Proven track record of successfully leading projects, including design, implementation, and management of HR programs in a complex organizational environment
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to think critically, analyze and visualize data, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to travel up to 50% initially, and then once settled into the position only up to 30%
