Job description

JUNIOR TRAFFIC ANALYST – TRAFFIC ASSITANT

Position objective:
The traffic analyst mainly elaborates and organizes all the necessary documentation for the shipments, sending it in a timely manner to the suppliers. He/she coordinates the placing of loading equipment in time and follows up the shipments within and outside the company.

Additionally, he/she confirms that the tariffs are entered correctly in the system to ensure the carriers’ payments complete. Lastly, he/she controls the activities that lead the delivery process to the client guaranteeing on time delivery and efficient customer service.

Profile of the position:

The position requires a proactive, responsible, organized, and analytic person with a high sense of urgency and the skills to react and act accordingly to find immediate solutions to unexpected events. He/she must also be able to fill out and maintain records and to elaborate reports. He/she must have the vision to plan and anticipate possible risks that may occur during the process and create action plans to avoid delays in deliveries.

He/she must also have the skill to negotiate and possess interpersonal skills to guarantee the correct communication with internal and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the placing of loading equipment in time

- Maintain correct and constant communication with delivery department to monitor loading process

- Follow up on shipment’s loading and border crossing

- Provide shipment documents to the carriers

- Follow up with carriers regarding invoices questions or concerns

- Keep shipments information

- Maintain constant communication with carrier and internal clients

Requisites:

  • Recently graduated (Industrial Eng or Bachelor in International Business)
  • English level advanced (conversational and writing)
  • Experience working with Oracle (preferably but no necessary)
  • Microsoft Office
