JOB DETAILS 

Day Shift 

Pay Range starts at $38-$50 per hour 

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Trainer in Maintenance Dept, you will take the leadership role of ensuring associates are properly introduced to the facility and assist them in their progression through the Maintenance Skills Matrix.  Must have the ability to train and perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance on instrumentation, motors, drives, circuit boards, PLC’s, and other associated equipment.  This will also include developing and delivering curriculums at each level including both classroom and plant floor training.  You will lead by example in key areas such as safety, housekeeping, quality, productivity, behavior, and attendance.   You will present a positive attitude, be an effective communicator and display patience and compassion to help motivate associates to work at their highest potential. 

  • Programming, troubleshooting, installing, testing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing:
    • Programmable Logic Controllers
    • Human Machine Interface
    • Variable Frequency Drives
    • Electronic process control systems
    • Data acquisitions systems
    • Automatic control valves
    • Flow measurement devices
    • Level measurement devices
    • Pressure measurement devices
    • Motors
    • Pumps
    • Bearings
    • Create and update maintenance SOP’s
  • Develop and implement appropriate processes and training related to equipment maintenance for existing and new equipment
  • Assist engineering team with new equipment introductions and training
  • Read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical plans, specifications, blueprints, and sketches
  • Confer with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate maintenance processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned/required to support Cornerstone Building Brands operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial engineering) preferred
  • High School diploma and a minimum of 8 years of engineering or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Project Management experience is preferred
