Job description

JOB DETAILS: This is a hybrid work model - working onsite in Cary, NC 2-3 days a week

As a Customer Master Data Entry Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of customer master data across various systems within the organization. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a team of data entry specialists, implementing data entry standards and best practices, cleansing existing data, and integrating master data into multiple systems. You will be instrumental in maintaining high-quality data that supports effective decision-making and enhances customer service processes. Working within the Global Finance Shared Services team, the Supervisor will be highly visible to Cornerstone leadership interacting with Business Segment leadership, sales, operations, IT data warehouse, IT systems analysts, eCommerce, and more.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of data entry specialists
    • Provide training on data entry standards, procedures, and system usage
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members
  • Data Cleansing and Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement data cleansing procedures to identify and rectify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and duplications in customer master data
    • Establish quality assurance measures to ensure data accuracy and completeness
    • Monitor data entry activities and perform regular audits to uphold data quality standards
  • Data Entry Standards and Procedures:
    • Define and document data entry standards, guidelines, and procedures
    • Ensure adherence to established standards by providing ongoing training and supervision
    • Continuously improve data entry processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency
  • Integration of Master Data:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer master data into various systems, including CRM, ERP, and other relevant platforms
    • Coordinate data migration and integration projects to ensure seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operations
    • Troubleshoot integration issues and work with IT teams to resolve technical challenges
  • System Maintenance and Enhancement:
    • Liaise with IT and software vendors to maintain and enhance data entry systems and tools
    • Identify opportunities for system improvements or upgrades to support evolving business needs
    • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new data management solutions as required

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. College degree highly desired
  • 10+ years of experience in data management working with cross functional teams (sales, customer service and accounts receivables), managing a team and supporting multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, including data cleansing, data governance, and data quality assurance
  • Advanced experience in using data entry tools and software, such as CRM systems, ERP systems, and data integration platforms as well as MS Excel
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality standards
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with data setup, ERP management and/or Access DB experience is a plus
